Working from home sounded like a great concept until we all started doing it. Suddenly, having to work while kids and pets demand attention and the dishes in the kitchen call your name became a nightmare. In order to escape, many people resorted to local hotels and we can now say that working from hotels is the latest trend in this weird year.

Whether you choose a hotel in your city or go somewhere else for a week, a hotel will provide you the necessary change of environment, a relaxing atmosphere, and virtually no distraction. Additionally, paying to stay in a hotel may motivate you to get the work done faster or to do a bit more of it so you get your money’s worth. This means you can either earn more or free up more of your time to spend with your family at peace.

Besides a private room, hotels offer nice lobbies that will likely have a few more people working in them so they become fancy coworking spaces. There’s also food in the hotel restaurant so you don’t have to think about it. Not to mention that this opens the possibility to spend a week in a new city where you can work in the morning and explore the place in the afternoon. How perfect is that?
