2024 has been a great year for country music, and Beyoncé embraced this genre with her latest album Cowboy Carter after setting the stage for its rollout with the catchy lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em”.
Kendrick Lamar – “Not Like Us”
The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar was one of the defining hip-hop moments of 2024. Both rappers dropped several songs as a part of their smear campaign, but none created more buzz than Lamar’s “Not Like Us”.
Chappell Roan – “Good Luck, Babe!”
Chappell Roan is the biggest breakout star of 2024, and the success of her breakout hit “Good Luck, Babe!” inspired many people to explore more of her work and discover her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

]]>Another Halloween is behind us, and Hollywood superstars celebrate it in style – by dressing up as their favorite movie characters. Costumes inspired by beloved films and TV shows we all know and love were all the rage this spooky season, and everyone from Heidi Klum to Bella Hadid embraced this trend.
Costumes inspired by superheroes aren’t going out of style just yet, and we’ve seen several stars embrace this trend. Lupita Nyong’o and Victoria Monét both dressed up as Storm from the X-Men movies, while Bella Hadid decided to channel her inner Poison Ivy this time around.
Heidi Klum went all in with her Halloween costume this year and attended her annual party in an elaborate E.T. costume alongside her husband Tom Kaulitz. Several more couples delivered amazing matching costumes this year, including Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker as Morticia and Gomez Addams, plus Hailey and Justin Bieber as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable.
Chloe and Halle Bailey also decided to match, dressing up as Velma and Daphne from Scooby-Doo, in addition to delivering some epic individual costumes. Beyoncé paid homage to Prince’s film Purple Rain by dressing up as his character, while Lori Harvey delivered one of the best Kill Bill costumes in recent memory.

Silver was the defining color of the Renaissance World Tour, and many stars attending the film’s premiere decided to stick to this theme. Beyoncé kicked things off with a dramatic Versace gown and a platinum blonde wig, and Lupita Nyong’o, Laverne Cox, and Kelly Rowland were right behind.
Paint it Black
In addition to silver, black was one of the most popular colors with the stars attending this film premiere. Beyoncé’s former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams stole the show in a structural bodysuit with a tulle train by Bishme Cromartie, and several more stars followed, including Lori Harvey, Marsai Martin, Winnie Harlow, and Gabrielle Union, among others.

Rumors about the Renaissance concert film started making the rounds online last week, and Beyoncé made things official by dropping a trailer at the end of her tour. According to its official logline, this film is all “about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.”
More Than Concert Footage
According to Variety, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will include much more than just concert footage. It’s also expected to include documentary footage that chronicles the recording of the album and conceiving the tour, in addition to music videos from the highly-anticipated visual album Renaissance.
When & Where
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will premiere on December 1, and it will be distributed by AMC Theatres. Just like Taylor Swift before her, Queen B decided to join forces with this theatre chain instead of approaching the studios and streaming services, and she’s expected to receive over 50% of box office revenue.
