]]>The Gilded Age? More like the Golden Age! The theme of this year’s Met Gala was inspired by gilded glamour and many stars decided to honor it by hitting the red carpet in dramatic golden gowns. Here are some of the stars who embraced Met Gala’s biggest trend and managed to strike gold with their red carpet choices.
Kim Kardashian stole the show at this year’s Met Gala when she hit the red carpet in Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress designed by Jean Louis.
Lively gave us another show-stopping red carpet moment in her golden Versace gown with a big dramatic bow. It turned out that the bow can be untied, revealing a long, sparkly turquoise train hiding underneath.
Versace really did a great job staying on the theme at this year’s Met Gala and Cardi B’s golden halter dress embroidered with layers upon layers of the brand’s signature gold chain was one of their best designs.
Stallion joined forces with Moschino this time around and looked like a golden goddess in her shimmering golden gown, with shoulder padding embossed with gold feathers that gave it a wing-like look.
Sequins combined with rhinestones are a Paco Rabanne signature, and this golden dress worn by Sabrina Carpenter made us fall in love with their designs all over again.

]]>Neon green is the new black and surprisingly, it’s the hottest color of the season. Your favorite celebs made a bold choice by incorporating this shade in their looks and inspired the rest of us to do the same.
Love it or hate it, you must admit it’s pretty refreshing to see an offbeat color taking a center stage in the middle of the winter. This season is usually reserved for pretty bland and somber shades, but neon green is here to change that.
In addition to looking pretty amazing, fashion items in this color will help you lift your spirits up and beat winter blues. Everything will look a little bit brighter once you start rocking this shade, and no one is asking you to go overboard. Start small, with an item or two, and see for yourself if it’s your thing.
It takes some courage and confidence to pull this trend off, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a try. Take a page from your favorite celeb’s book and you might just learn something new about yourself.

]]>Winter is usually the busiest red carpet season, but we always get a bunch of amazing looks in the months leading to it. Fall is the best time to test what will work with fashion critics once Oscars roll around, and this season gave us a few amazing trends we wouldn’t mind seeing again.
Whether you like it or not, feathers are officially back in style. Ever since Lady Gaga and Cate Blanchett rocked extravagant feathered gown at the Venice Film Festival, we’ve seen at least one similar design at every red carpet event in the months to come.

When you go through dozens of red carpet photos, there’s usually a lot of black and white, but not this fall. Silver was dominating all the major events and wearing this color proved to be the winning formula to making it to “best dressed” list.
Our favorite stars have been killing it in awesome suits this season, and we honestly never want them to stop. Blake Lively is the unofficial president of the “suit up” club and made this fashion piece a staple of her A Simple Favor press tour – but other famous ladies were right behind you.
