Rihanna
Rihanna’s absence from the Emmys was surprising considering the fact she was nominated for her Savage x Fenty vol. 2 show. The Amazon Prime special was up for Outstanding Choreography For Variety Or Reality Programming. However, Rihanna chose to spend that weekend on the opposite side of the country with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. In a 2019 interview, Riri shared that being creative is what keeps her going, rather than the ‘glamorous’ side of things.
Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston made it clear in advance that she will not be attending this year’s Emmy Awards due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Aniston was nominated with the Friends team for Best Variety Special (pre-recorded) for the Friends reunion. The actress has been vocal about how much she is doing to protect herself after getting her vaccine and noted that even being on the Jimmy Kimmel show last week was a big step for her.
Zendaya
This is the second time Zendaya was absent from a major event recently: last week the actress skipped the Met Gala because she was shooting the second season of Euphoria. Last year’s winner in the Best Actress in a drama series category’s choice to skip the Emmys isn’t too surprising considering the show was only nominated for non-acting categories.

Sites like Memmo and Cameo offer members the opportunity to have famous celebrities record messages as a gift to a friend or family member. And trust us, it’s just as cool as it sounds.
Cameo, which has a variety of celebrities with thousands to chose from with everyone from musicians, actors, and reality TV stars to athletes. Some of the many stars you can find include Vanilla Ice, Fran Drescher, Alfonso Ribeiro, Lindsay Lohan, Bethany Hamilton, and Tony Hawk. It connects fans with their favorite stars through customized video messages, live video calls, and direct messages. Memmo is pretty much the same, but the UK version with around 3000 celebrities who do video messages.
Each celebrity decides how much they want to charge for the services and some are even doing it for charity, which you’ll see on their page. You can find a ton of stars for under $150, but a majority of them charge between $250 to $500.
During the pandemic these companies have become super popular with many entertainers having more time for these types of projects. It’s super easy for them to make a lot of money without even leaving their homes.

]]>Across the world, coronavirus cases have been increasing and a new social media campaign called #WearADamnMask challenge, started by designer Tory Burch, aims to remind people about the importance of wearing a mask while in public places to help prevent the virus from spreading. Since states have started reopening things, the rates of coronavirus cases have skyrocketed.
“I am sure you all are seeing what I am seeing, COVID 19 rates in the USA are rising at a truly scary rate,” Burch posted on Instagram. “One thing I know for sure is that there’s a very easy way each of us can help, and that’s to #WearaDamnMask whenever we are in public. #WearaDamnMask because we want to protect ourselves and, even more importantly, we want to protect others. #WearaDamnMask because clearly, the doctors and data say we are not going to beat this pandemic unless we each do our part to get rid of it. #WearaDamnMask because is it not a political issue, it is an issue of saving lives. #WearaDamnMask because it is the only way to keep our most vulnerable safe and the only way to get our economy back on track.”
Not long after Burch posted on Instagram, other celebrities followed suit including Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, Samira Nasr, Jennifer Aniston, Marisa Tomei, Matthew A. Cherry, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon. They’ve even challenged other celebrities to join in.
