Here are some flowers to incorporate into your routine.
Roses
Roses have become associated with romance, but they also reduce inflammation, relieve menstrual pain, and help with the digestive process. One well-known rose-infused beverage you have to try is rose milk.
Dandelions
Dandelions can also fasciliate digestion and they’re an adaptogen, which means they help the body adapt to or resist the effects of stress on the body. The whole dandelion is edible, but their roots taste better than other parts and they’re great brewed in tea.
Chamomile
Chamomile is commonly found in sleepy-time teas and it’s calming and relaxing. It’s been used for centuries for these purposes and it also helps with gastrointestinal problems.
Hibiscus
One of the most popular ingredients in floral teas is hibiscus and it’s recommended for people who have pre-diabetes and are at risk for developing type II diabetes due to how it levels blood sugar and blood pressure levels. Hibiscus also prevents inflammation and infection.
Jasmine
The petals from jasmine are used to scent tea and the shrub can reduce anxiety, boost concentration, help digestive issues, and relieve aches and pains.

An expression of artistic stamina, paper flowers can add a unique touch to your home decor or special event, and can even make for an ideal gift for your house-plant-loving friend.

With thousands of followers and admirers online, Ciovarta aims to capture the essence of flora, recreating realistic bouquets that are meant to last. “My customers are always telling me stories how people always mistake my flowers with real ones, which gives me so much pride and joy,” maintains the paper artist on her website.
With realism a top criterion for her work, Ciovarta’s process includes a lot of research beforehand. “I study many images with them, I make sketches, mood boards and think of ways to reproduce and practice them,” says Ciovarta. “After these steps are ready I make all the flowers, greenery, buds, and other elements necessary for my bouquet.”
A self-taught paper artist, Ciovarta’s artistic background includes fashion design and painting. The products themselves are made from crepe paper which is painted and laminated. “I feel so grateful that I can make something beautiful with my own two hands,” says the artist.

With a buzzing social media presence, which includes a successful YouTube channel and a popular Instagram page, Campbell teaches the basics of drawing, watercolor painting, journaling, and other crafts.
According to Campbell there are many benefits to everyday creativity, the first being the process itself, and the second—the product (“it’s lovely to be surrounded by lovely things” writes Campbell on her website, and we couldn’t agree more). With much free time on our hands and little to do, Campbell’s YouTube channel is the calm, inspirational space we’ve been looking for.
Her lessons include illustration tutorials, watercolor courses, and the ins and outs of bullet journaling. She also has an introduction to simple hand-lettering, and landscape and floral paintings. “I hope you’ll grab a paintbrush and join me,” she writes. “Because creativity is play, anyone can do it!”
