]]>Season 2 of Ted Lasso concluded on Friday, and fans of the series are already patiently awaiting its follow-up. The Emmy-winning series has been renewed for its third chapter, but what can we expect from it once it comes back?
The season finale of Ted Lasso made it pretty clear what the main conflict is going to be once the series returns for its third season. Rebecca’s ex Rupert bought West Ham United and Nate abandoned AFC Richmond in order to coach them, cementing his status as the main villain of the upcoming season.
The show’s main cast, including Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Juno Temple are all set to return, but they won’t be the only ones making a comeback. Showrunner Bill Lawrence confirmed that Dr. Sharon and Trent Crimm will both have significant roles next year.
Season 3 of Ted Lasso still doesn’t have an official release date, but Lawrence is hoping they’ll be able to bring it back to Apple TV+ in August next year. They’re always aiming towards this target date but had to work around the Olympics when it came to the release plans for the second season.

]]>Saturday Night Live is coming back for Season 47 this weekend, and we already know who’ll be hosting it all month long. The legendary sketch show unveiled the first rooster of hosts and musical guests, and here’s what we can expect from them.
Wilson will make his hosting debut after experiencing somewhat of a career renaissance following his appearance in the Disney+ series Loki. He’s a veteran comedian, so it makes a lot of sense to have him host, especially since his next movie The French Dispatch is just around the corner.
Some were confused by SNL’s decision to have Kardashian host since she’s not a natural comedian, but she won’t be the first host with no comedy background. The show poked fun of her on countless occasions in the past, so it will be fun to see her get the last laugh.
Picking Malek as SNL host makes total sense since he’s currently busy promoting No Time to Die. He’s not known for his work as a comedian, but he has one Oscar under his belt so we’re pretty sure he’ll do just fine.
It’s a shocker that Jason Sudeikis never returned to host SNL since his departure, but his return comes at the perfect time. He recently won an Emmy for his work on Ted Lasso, and it will be a true delight to see him back at 30 Rock.
