The Moonwalkers, which went viral in 2022 as the “world’s fastest shoes,” aren’t just ordinary shoes. They attach over your existing footwear, transforming every step into a smooth, gliding motion. This nano-mobility device allows you to walk up to three times faster, combining speed with the natural movement of walking. But the new model comes with upgrades.
The Moonwalkers X represents a significant leap forward from the original Moonwalkers model. Each shoe is now remarkably lighter, shedding a full pound, a change that promises to enhance wearability and comfort. The advancements don’t stop at weight reduction.

]]>Razer is a tech company famous for gaming hardware and accessories. Their designs are often innovative and first of their kind on the market, and the same is true for their latest gaming chair concept. Project Brooklyn‘s most prominent feature is a foldable display that can be hidden within the chair when not in use.
The display can extend to a maximum size of 60 inches and the company says it features “stunning visual detail and quality.” There’s another thing that can be taken out of the chair—a fold-out table similar to tables found in some luxury cars.
“Project Brooklyn is an exciting concept developed on the true essence of a fully immersive gaming station,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said in a statement. “The haptic feedback, visuals, and overall functional design with attention to ergonomics will deliver a one-of-a-kind gameplay experience.”
We don’t expect such a chair to be available for buying anytime soon as it’s still in the concept phase, but it’s exciting to see what Razer is working on and how they plan to implement some of the futuristic features.

]]>A South Korean startup company named Petpuls developed an innovative product that will help dog owners understand their beloved pets better. Their smart dog collar uses artificial intelligence to “translate” dogs’ emotions based on their barks, effectively telling the owners what their pets are trying to communicate.
The Petpuls collar uses voice recognition technology to monitor the emotions of dogs and understands if they are happy, sad, angry, relaxed, etc. To be able to do this, the company created an algorithm using 10,000 samples from 50 different dog breeds. The dog owners get the data delivered to their smartphone app.
“It comes with an activity tracker and rest tracker. With the activity tracker, it will show how much activity has been done, based on the calorie consumption analysis. At the same time, the rest tracker shows how much rest the dog needs or how tired the dog is,” said Andrew Gil, the company’s director of global marketing.
Their collar sells for around $100 and it’s the perfect gift for a dog owner in your life. We’re sure we’ll see many more products like this in the near future!

]]>Dark mode has been one of the most requested Instagram features and, finally, it’s here. Instagram enabled the feature for both Android and iOS last week, and if you’re unsure how to get it for your phone, keep reading.
First of all, you should know that dark mode is not available for older OS versions, at least for now. You need to have a phone running on iOS 13 or Android 10 in order to enable it. These operating systems give you an option to turn on dark mode for the whole phone, and if you do that, it automatically applies to the Instagram app as well.
To enable dark mode on your iPhone, go to your Settings app, choose Display & Brightness, and tap the Dark button. To do it on an Android phone, go to Settings, tap Display, and enable the Dark theme button.
The dark mode is a useful feature that makes using any app easier on your eyes, especially when you’re using your phone in the dark. We must admit that it actually looks pretty elegant on Instagram!

]]>As per the recent announcement, Netflix is about to automate the creation of trailers in hope to make them more time-efficient and to personalize them for the viewers.
According to CBS News, the company’s chief product officer Gregory Peters said Netflix plans to automate the process of indexing scenes and characters “so that our trailer creators can really focus their time and energy on the creative process”.
This is not the first time Netflix is attempting to personalize content. Back in 2017, they introduced personalized artwork that shows different posters to each user based on their viewing history and genre preferences.
Take the movie Good Will Hunting for example. If a user prefers comedies and watches them on Netflix, the software will list the movie with an image of Robin Williams. If they prefer romantic movies, Netflix will show Matt Damon and Minnie Driver about to kiss.
Similar logic will apply to the creation of trailers.
The next step for Netflix will be utilizing artificial intelligence to reduce time editors spend on editing trailers so they could focus on fine-tuning the final cut.
