It’s a huge moment for every artist to share their first album with the world, and some of our favorite rising stars waited until this November to get it done. From Jungkook’s Golden to PinkPantheress’ Heaven Knows, here are the most exciting debut albums coming our way this month.

Jungkook – Golden (November 3)

After finding success with the K-pop boy band BTS, Jungkook is finally ready to share his first solo album with the world. Expectations are running high because Golden already produced one smash hit – the lead single “Seven” ft. Latto.

Baby Queen – Quarter Life Crisis (November 10)

Baby Queen used the power of social media to put her music on the map, and her debut album is just around the corner. Quarter Life Crisis was preceded by five singles, including “We Can Be Anything” from Netflix’s Heartstopper.

The Kid Laroi – The First Time (November 10)

After topping the Billboard 200 chart with his mixtape F*ck Love and giving us hit songs “Without You” and “Stay” ft. Justin Bieber, the Australian singer The Kid Laroi is finally ready to share his very first studio album with the world.

PinkPantheress – Heaven Knows (November 10)

PinkPantheress found viral fame with her Ice Spice collaboration “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2”, and that was just the beginning. Her debut album Heaven Knows is just around the corner, and it will also feature singles “Mosquito” and “Capable of Love”.

If you take a closer look at all the songs that topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this fall, you’ll notice a familiar pattern. All the tracks that reached no. 1 in the past few weeks saw two or more artists joining forces, and that’s the case with these three chart-topping singles.

“Stay” – The Kid Laroi ft. Justin Bieber

If we had to pick a single song that’s been dominating Billboard Hot 100 in the past few months, it would definitely be this one. The Kid Laroi’s collaboration with his idol Justin Bieber managed to stay on top for seven weeks, becoming one of the longest-running no. 1 singles of the year.

“Industry Baby” – Lil Nas X ft. Jack Harlow

“Industry Baby” debuted at no. 2 when it originally came out back in July, and its climb to the top was a joy to watch. Its surge to no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 was pushed by the release of two new versions, one with an alternative digital single cover and an extended mix.

“Way 2 Sexy”  – Drake ft. Future and Young Thug

Drake broke the record for the highest number of top-10 singles from one album making it to the Billboard Hot 100, but only one could reach the top. “Way 2 Sexy” put his new LP Certified Lover Boy on the map, and it became his latest collaboration to hit no. 1.

Summer usually gives us countless songs that make it atop the Billboard Hot 100. Our favorite artists surprised us with many catchy tracks this time around, but not many managed to reach no. 1. Only four songs topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this summer, so what is the secret behind their success?

BTS – “Butter”

Summer kicked off with “Butter” at no. 1, and it’s not difficult to see why. BTS has the most passionate fan base on the pop scene, and their summer anthem is so catchy that you don’t have to be a K-pop fan to love it.

BTS – “Permission to Dance”

“Permission to Dance” spent only a week atop the Billboard Hot 100, as a result of fans’ streaming efforts. Following its no. 1 debut, BTS returned to no. 1 with “Butter”.

The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber – “Stay”

If we had to pick a defining summer hit of 2021, it would definitely be “Stay”. The collaboration between Justin Bieber and the rising star Kid Laroi spent five weeks on top and it’s highly likely it will stay there for a few more.

Drake ft. Future and Young Thug – “Way 2 Sexy”

Drake created quite a commotion with his latest album Certified Lover Boy, and seeing it produce a no. 1 hit wasn’t a shocker. “Way 2 Sexy” stayed at the top spot for its debut week alone, before being replaced by “Stay”.

Year after year there’s a song of summer and this year it happens to be The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay”. Laroi’s “Stay” which features Bieber, has led songs this summer and the 18-year-old Australian rapper seems to have come out of nowhere. On YouTube alone, the song has over 160 million views.

From the week of June 25 to Labor Day weekend, the collaboration between The Kid/Bieber has pulled 1.5 million song-projects units according to Variety. Coming in at a close second is Oliva Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U” with 1.3 million, followed by Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” with 1.04 million.

Doja Cat is also doing really well this summer—”Kiss Me More” is at No. 4, “Need To Know” is at No. 8, “Ain’t Shit” is at No. 11, and The Weeknd’s “You Right”, which she is featured in is at No. 16.

Lil Nas X has two of the top 10 spots with Jack Harlow collaboration “Industry Baby” at No. 7 and “Montero (Call Me By My Name)” at No. 10.

Rodrigo has three on the top 20 with “Traitor at No. 13 and “Déjà Vu” at No. 15, joining “Good 4 U”.

Rounding out the top 10 are Dua Lipa’s ”Levitating” at No. 5, Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like” at No. 6, and Polo G’s “Rapstar” at No. 10.

The Kid Laroi is currently making waves with his chart-topping song “Stay” featuring Justin Bieber, but is he the real deal or one-hit wonder? The Australian Gen-Z singer has been on quite a journey even before this smash hit came out, and here’s why you should learn his name.

Chart Success

The Kid Laroi still hasn’t released his debut album, but that didn’t stop him from topping the Billboard 200 chart. He hit no. 1 with the reissue of his debut mixtape F**k Love 3: Over You. He also topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Stay”, which recently returned to the top spot for its fourth consecutive week.

A-List Collaborations

One of the secrets behind Laroi’s success is his collaborations with the world’s leading recording artists. In addition to Bieber, he also joined forces with Juice Wrld on “Go”, “Hate the Other Side”, and “Reminds Me of You” and Miley Cyrus on “Without You”—and the list is getting longer by the day.

Solo Success?

The Kid Laroi never struggled to find success with his A-list collaborations, but can he stand his ground on his own? None of his solo songs found the kind of success that “Stay” did, but “So Done” became a pretty big hit in Australia and entered Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

This summer has given us countless amazing albums, and most of those that reached the top of the charts have one thing in common. Teenagers topped the Billboard 200 chart time and time again this summer and cemented their domination with these three hit albums.

Olivia Rodrigo – Sour

Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour came all the way back in May, but that didn’t stop it from topping Billboard 200 throughout summer. It had the biggest opening week of 2021, spent four separate weeks atop the chart, and produced hit singles “Drivers License”, “Deja Vu”, and “Good 4 U”.

Billie Eilish – Happier Than Ever

Eilish is no stranger to dominating the Billboard 200 chart, and she returned to the top of the chart with her sophomore album. Happier Than Ever didn’t find the same kind of success as her debut album, but it cemented Eilish’s status as one of the biggest Gen-Z stars on the pop scene.

The Kid Laroi – F*ck Love

The Kid Laroi’s debut mixtape came out about a year ago, but it reached no. 1 following the release of the deluxe edition F**k Love 3: Over You. In addition to topping the Billboard 200 chart, the Australian rapper also scored his first no. 1 Hot 100 hit with “Stay” featuring Justin Bieber.
