This summer has given us countless amazing albums, and most of those that reached the top of the charts have one thing in common. Teenagers topped the Billboard 200 chart time and time again this summer and cemented their domination with these three hit albums.

Olivia Rodrigo – Sour

Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour came all the way back in May, but that didn’t stop it from topping Billboard 200 throughout summer. It had the biggest opening week of 2021, spent four separate weeks atop the chart, and produced hit singles “Drivers License”, “Deja Vu”, and “Good 4 U”.

Billie Eilish – Happier Than Ever

Eilish is no stranger to dominating the Billboard 200 chart, and she returned to the top of the chart with her sophomore album. Happier Than Ever didn’t find the same kind of success as her debut album, but it cemented Eilish’s status as one of the biggest Gen-Z stars on the pop scene.

The Kid Laroi – F*ck Love

The Kid Laroi’s debut mixtape came out about a year ago, but it reached no. 1 following the release of the deluxe edition F**k Love 3: Over You. In addition to topping the Billboard 200 chart, the Australian rapper also scored his first no. 1 Hot 100 hit with “Stay” featuring Justin Bieber.
