]]>It’s official: LEGO is not just for kids anymore. The famous toy manufacturer announced the LEGO FORMA set in a collaboration with IndieGoGo enterprise. LEGO FORMA is marketed to adults who want new and creative ways to relax and de-stress during their free time.
LEGO FORMA is described as a “creative project” that’s a bit more complicated than their sets for kids. The first sets will be kinetic sculptures of fish and shark that include a gear system for generating swimming motion.
“The young adults we speak to tell us they still feel the urge to be creative and enjoy the physical experience of making stuff – but life seems to get in the way,” says Kari Vinther, Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Creative Play Lab Pilots.

The prices start at $49.99 a month which isn’t exactly cheap, but it won’t stop true fans from getting their hands on this new product. For now, Disney offers two types of boxes:

The Woodgates are selling their Cuddle + Kind toys online, and for every toy sold, they provide 10 meals to hungry children. On their website, they explain in more detail why and how they do this.
“With a background in health, we recognize the crucial role nutrition plays in a child’s development. As parents, we believe all children should have enough food to eat and the opportunity to thrive, so when we saw a documentary on the devastating impact of childhood hunger on millions of children around the world, it inspired us to help,” they write.
“On that day, we decided to start a company whose purpose is to help improve the lives of children and to make a difference.”
The photos of babies cuddling with Cuddle + Kind toys are all over Instagram these days, and when something is as wholesome and beautiful as this trend, we hope many more toys reach the kids around the world and share many more meals.
