If you’re looking for a new sport or activity to keep you active right now, you might be surprised to find out that there’s a sport that is currently skyrocketing in popularity among players of all ages. We’re talking about golf. That’s right, the sport that you probably associate with businessmen and/or dads in cheesy, plaid outfits just had its best summer in decades.

Why? Well, there are a few reasons.

One is that golf is perfectly suited for social distancing, taking place outside in large, open spaces where players can easily stand more than six feet away from each other without it in any way harming their game.

For that reason, golf is also one of the only sports that has survived the Coronavirus pandemic well, with most golf courses open for people to safely play.

Plus, despite having a reputation for being mostly loved by middle-aged men (or older), golf is actually easy to enjoy for people of all ages.

For these reasons, golf has been discovered or rediscovered recently by lots of people itching to get outside and do something active. So if you’re feeling cooped up at home and want to stretch your legs, learn a new skill, and get some exercise, golf is worth considering as one of the best ways to do it.
