If you enjoy watching TV shows with a clear beginning, middle, and end, you’re probably a huge fan of mini-series. HBO is the true master of this television format, and they have several promising limited series coming our way this fall.

The Third Day

The Third Day follows a series of mysterious events taking place at the British island of Osea, through the eye of two individuals who arrive here at different times. This series is worth watching for its cast alone since it stars Jude Law, Naomie Harris, and Katherine Waterston.

We Are Who We Are

Just like Call Me by Your Name, Luca Guadagnino’s latest coming-of-age tale takes us back to Italy. It explores the search for friendship, first love, and identity of two American teenagers growing up at an American military base near Venice.

The Undoing

Nicole Kidman’s collaboration with HBO continues with this drama series directed by the Emmy-winner Susanne Bier. It also stars Hugh Grant and Édgar Ramírez and centers on a successful therapist whose life falls apart on the eve of publishing her debut book.
