3 Highly Anticipated Movies to Watch Once Theaters Reopen

John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in "Tenet"

After months of watching movies on Netflix and Amazon, cinephiles are getting ready to head back to theaters and check out highly-anticipated blockbusters on the big screen. Here’s a couple of promising movies coming our way shortly after theaters reopen.

Tenet (September 3rd)

After several postponements and a lot of speculations about its release, Christopher Nolan’s latest film will welcome us back to theaters. This mind-banding spy film is set in the world of international espionage, and it stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson.

The King’s Man (September 18th)

Spy films will be all the rage this fall, and the prequel to the Kingsman film series takes us back to the early years of the 20th century. It’s the origin story of a secretive agency from the original two films, and its star-studded cast will be led by Ralph Fiennes.

Wonder Woman 1984 (October 2nd)

Gal Gadot will return as Wonder Woman in this highly-anticipated sequel that takes place during the Cold War era. This film will show her facing two formidable foes—the media mogul Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva/Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
