Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt wasn’t canceled out of nowhere and it got a proper ending, but Netflix still decided to bring it back. The interactive special Kimmy vs. the Reverend premiered over a year after the series finale and even received an Emmy nod for outstanding TV movie.
