Red carpet events are usually filled with dresses in neutral shades, but not this award season. Beautiful gowns in all the colors of the rainbow are showing up everywhere, and these three are the trendiest hues right now.

Green

Green is not a color that we often see on the red carpet, but after this year’s awards season—we really wish it was. Several stars, including Kelsea Ballerini, Viola Davis, and Andra Day, couldn’t resist the vibrant appeal of this lively and refreshing shade.

Fuchsia

If we had to pick the most vibrant version of pink, fuchsia would probably make the cut. Dresses in different shades of pink have been a red carpet mainstay for years, but fuchsia has been especially popular this award season, with Kaley Cuoco and Jurnee Smollett giving it their seal of approval.

Orange

Orange is, without a doubt, the trendiest color of this year’s award season. Classy red carpet dresses in this vibrant shade have been a true rarity before 2021, but they’re showing up everywhere right now. Zendaya, Regina King, and Megan Thee Stallion are some of the stars responsible for putting this trend on the map.
