The Academy Award nominations are yet to be announced, but it’s already easy to predict who the winners will be. The race is pretty clear in several major categories, and here’s who’s expected to walk away with shiny statuettes come Oscar night.

Best Picture – Nomadland

It’s still too early to call Nomadland a lock for best picture at the Oscars, but its chances are looking pretty good. It already won several major accolades in this same category, including the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Award.

Best Director – Chloé Zhao

Chloé Zhao is also expected to pick up an Oscar for directing Nomadland. If she manages to do so, she’ll make history as the only woman alongside Kathryn Bigelow to win this award.

Best Actor – Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman won countless posthumous awards for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and he’s expected to repeat that same success come Oscar night.

Best Supporting Actor – Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya is one of the latecomers to the Oscar race, but his supporting turn in Judas and the Black Messiah is winning awards left and right and his Oscar chances are looking great.

Best Animated Feature – Soul

Pixar’s Soul will most certainly walk away with the Oscar for the best-animated feature, but that won’t be the only award it gets. Jon Batiste, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross will most likely win a trophy for collaborating on the score for this movie.
