We can always count on the Primetime Emmy Awards to introduce us to some amazing red carpet trends and this year’s ceremony didn’t disappoint. Our favorite stars brought their A-fashion game to TV’s biggest night and embraced these five fashion trends along the way.

White Suits

White outfits were all the rage at this year’s Emmys and the ladies weren’t the only ones wearing them. White menswear was just as popular, with the likes of Andrew Garfield, Seth Rogen, and Nicholas Braun putting it on the map.

Classy Black Gowns

Several stars brought Old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet in classy black gowns, starting with Zendaya, Elle Fanning, and Juno Temple.

Sequins Bonanza

Celebrities at this year’s Emmys were shining brighter than ever—mostly thanks to their dazzling, sequined outfits. Amanda Seyfried, Sandra Oh, and Reese Witherspoon were some of the many stars to embrace this trend.

Ready for Fall

Many shimmering dresses came in fall-inspired shades, ranging from brown to gold. Christina Ricci, Quinta Brunson, and Lily James gave us the most magical looks in these colors.

50 Shades of Pink

Speaking of colors dominating the Emmys red carpet, pink was going stronger than ever. Amanda Seyfried, Ayo Edebiri, Connie Britton, and Hannah Waddingham were some of the stars to embrace this craze, mostly in lighter shades of pink.
