The red carpet at the Cannes film festival is always fire, and that was especially the case this year. Hollywood royalty flocked to the French Riviera in the past two weeks, and they introduced us to several amazing red-carpet trends that we’ll be seeing everywhere all summer long.

Exposed Bras

Peekaboo bras were used as a playful and subtle detail at the Cannes Film Festival, with the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Scarlett Johansson, and Sydney Sweeney embracing this rising trend.

Sunshine Colors

Vibrant colors were all the rage at the Cannes Film Festival this year, and we’ve seen several stars hit the carpet in yellow and orange dresses, including Heidi Klum, Sara Sampaio, Karlie Kloss, and Jasmine Tookes.

Cutout Bonanza

Many stars used cutout dresses to bring some edge to the Cannes red carpet. Dua Lipa, Naomi Campbell, Gemma Chan, and Heidi Klum were only some of the stars to attend the festival in sensual cutout dresses.

Superhero Vibes

Capes, caped sleeves, and wrap-around shawls were the No. 1 fashion accessories at Cannes this year, and Viola Davis, Jennifer Lawrence, Sara Sampaio, and Cate Blanchett gave this craze their seal of approval.

Vintage Fever

Vintage dresses pulled from the archives and recreations of iconic looks from the past were going stronger than ever in Cannes thanks to Natalie Portman, Gigi Hadid, and Kirsten Dunst.
