With fashion shows put on hold this year, many brands are presenting their newest collections in different formats and Chanel recently released their Fall-Winter 2020/21 Haute Couture collection via digital lookbook with photographs by Mikael Jansson. The collection was designed by Virginie Viard, who was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s punk-rock romanticism, not the classic designs of Gabrielle Chanel. These are the five trends from the collection you’ll be seeing everywhere this fall.
Polished Leggings
Simple, black leggings, a closet staple, have been replaced with polished, chic leggings that look great with tailored pieces like tweed blazers.

Maxi hemlines are coming back into style and you’ll be seeing them in coats, dresses, and skirts once it starts to get colder outside.

In true Chanel fashion, matching sets are coming in hot. This fall and winter, they’ll be a shift to tailored looks and nicer materials.

Chanel is also known for their accessories, and these shoes definitely make a statement. They remind us of ballet pointe shows and they’re just as girly as they are edgy.
