How does that even work? Well, after a carefully planned wedding, and just before starting your life together as a married couple, you and your spouse go to separate vacations. If this sounds silly to you, know that you’re not the only one!
Most people just can’t get behind this trend, but there are those who think this is a perfect solution for going on a dream vacation.
“Neither of us wanted to be where the other one was,” said Irene O’Brien, who recently got married. “We each came back to Dublin full of stories, buzzing of our trips and truly delighted to see each other again to share the memories: It was the perfect imperfect honeymoon.”
