Booze-Infused Cupcakes—A Party in Your Mouth!

What’s not to like about cupcakes infused with alcohol? This is not a new idea and people have long been experimenting with adding bourbon, rum and various liqueurs to cupcakes.

But then, the latest summer offerings from Sprinkles and Tito’s Handmade Vodka take this to a whole new level.

Tito’s handmade vodka is produced in Austin Texas using old-fashioned pot stills in Texas’ oldest legal distillery. Sprinkles started the world’s first cupcake bakery in Beverly Hills.

The two companies have worked together to create two vodka-infused cupcakes that will make you swoon. These cupcakes offer a perfect sweet treat with an unexpected twist.  They won’t make you tipsy because they contain less than five percent alcohol by volume but they will tantalize your taste buds.

The American Mule (inspired by the Moscow Mule) consists of a ginger cupcake with crystallized ginger and topped with a vodka-infused lime frosting.

The Down Home Punch cupcake is available first in Sprinkles stores from June 25th, and the American Mule cupcake is available after that from 9th to 22nd of July.

The Down Home Punch has an orange flavor and is filled with a compote of berry and pomegranite. A vodka-infused lemon berry frosting comes on top.
