Cast Reunions are the Best Thing to Come From Quarantine

We’ve been spending lots of time at home and celebrities have been doing the same. Since quarantine began earlier this spring, tons of stars from television shows that ended years ago have reunited virtually via Zoom, short-form YouTube series, and Instagram Live videos. In fact, nearly two dozen shows have reunited cast members from Glee, Parks and Recreations, The Office, Melrose Place, Friday Night Lights, and The Nanny. Here are some of the best television reunions so far.

90210

Shenae Grimes (Annie) reunited co-stars Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna), AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi), Michael Steger (Navid), Josh Zuckerman (Max), Jessica Stroup (Silver), Matt Lanter (Liam), Tristan Wilds (Dixon), and Dustin Milligan (Ethan) for a 27-minute look back on their time on air.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

On a recent episode of the Snapchat series “Will From Home,” Will Smith looked back at the 90s sitcom with former cast members Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), and DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz).

Glee

In a “Stars in the House,” a daily live-streamed YouTube series that befits the Actors Fund charity, the cast of Glee including Matthew Morrison (Will), Jane Lynch (Sue), Darren Criss (Blaine), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), and Kevin McHale (Artie) reunited. We even got to see Colfer’s audition!

Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus was joined by co-star Emily Osment on an episode of her Instagram Live series “Bright Minded,” and they talked about what it was like working on the set of Hannah Montana and growing up on the show while showing some old magazine and publicity shots.

The Nanny

We were treated with a virtual read of the show’s 1993 pilot episode with stars Fran Drescher (Fran), Charles Shaughnessy (Maxwell), Daniel Davis (Niles), Lauren Lane (C. C.), Nicholle Tom (Maggie), Benjamin Salisbury (Brighton), Madeline Zima (Grace), and Renee Taylor (Sylvia).
