It’s official—Friends is returning for a much-awaited reunion on the new streaming platform HBO Max.
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) confirmed the news on Friday on her Instagram account with a cast photo saying, “It’s happening…”
Her costars Courtney Cox (Monica), Matthew Perry (Chandler), David Schwimmer (Ross), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), and Matt LeBlanc (Joey) announced the news in the same way.
It didn’t take long for fans and fellow celebrities to go into a frenzy and comment with questions and emojis. Perhaps the most noteworthy was Kate Hudson’s response, “I feel like the whole world just had a collective orgasm,” with which Zoey Deutch responded “truth.”
Other amazing responses were Selena Gomez’s “NO ONE TALK TO ME. I’M NOT OKAY,” Antoni’s “NOTHING ELSE MATTERS 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼,” and Beanie Feldstein’s “I just screamed so loud on the street it was concerning.”
