Celebrity Brides Have Been Getting Married in Untraditional Outfits

In the past, brides stuck to white dresses, but recently untraditional gowns have become super popular. Even celebrities who have access to the most lavish designers and dresses have opted to break tradition and some of them didn’t even wear wedding dresses to tie the knot. We’re loving the new trend and we can’t get over how amazing these celebrities look on their big day, even if they were not in a traditional white dress.

Emily Ratajkowski

When the model tied the knot back in 2018, she wore a $200 mustard-colored suit from Zara. “I never loved the idea of wearing white for a wedding because I’m not a pure woman. I’m a woman with a lot of character and experience and life,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas wed in Lad Vegas in 2019 and she looked flawless for her Sin City wedding wearing a white silk Bevza jumpsuit.

Ellen DeGeneres

DeGeneres was one of the pioneers of untraditional wedding outfits and back in 2008, she wore a sheer shirt underneath a cream-colored vest with matching white pants when getting married to Portia de Rossi.

Teyana Taylor

Singer Teyana Taylor and NBA player Iman Shumpert were matchy-matchy in these fabulous red leather “I Do” red leather jackets when they tied the knot back in 2016.
