Check Out the Trailer For Netflix’s First Original Animated Film

At the beginning of October, Netflix launched a trailer for the first original animated feature produced by the company. The movie is titled Klaus and it will hit select U.S. theaters on November 8th and be available on Netflix from November 15th.

The movie was directed by Sergio Pablos, the director of Despicable Me. Klaus is a hand-drawn movie, which adds to its charm and warmth. Besides doing amazing work as a director, Pablos is a successful animator whose portfolio includes characters like Tantor in Tarzan and Dr. Doppler in Treasure Planet.

Klaus is a tale about postman Jesper and toymaker Klaus who become friends in order to make gifts for children. The voices of the main characters were provided by Jason Schwartzman, J.K. Simmons, Norm MacDonald, Rashida Jones, Joan Cusack, and Will Sasso.
