Scrolling through social media you may notice that everyone’s talking about one bag—Coach’s Pillow Tabby Shoulder Bag 26. Coach was a major designer label in the ’90s and ’00s and we all wanted to get our hands on our very own bag covered in Cs. But somehow, they went out of fashion, until now. We have to thank Gen Z for that, as they’ve been trying to get their hands on Coach bags at thrift stores. Coach took notice and their newest bag, the Pillow Tabby, is giving us major Y2K vibes.
The fluffy, cloud-like bag, has been deemed the “bag of the year” and it features a smooth leather handbag with a snap-button front flap and interior zip pocket. It’s roomy enough to hold a phone, wallet, lipgloss, and other essentials. It even comes with two detachable leather straps, so you can wear it as a shoulder or crossbody bag.
The Pillow Tabby is even approved by the one and only Jennifer Lopez who starred in the campaign for the bag back in February. She’s holding the regular-sized as well as an larger-than-life iteration of the bag, while it casual, street clothes.
The bag is currently sold out it two of its four colors, but it’s still available in Ivory and Taffy. It will set you back $495. It’s more understated than the Coach bags we’re used to as its only branding is a monochrome C closure. But we’re here for it.
