This year’s edition of Global Citizen Live gave us epic performances by Lizzo, Jennifer Lopez, and Doja Cat, but if we had to pick a single act that stole the show, it would be Coldplay. Chris Martin and co. delivered some amazing performances throughout the show—and they didn’t do it all alone.
“My Universe” ft. BTS
Coldplay’s most talked-about performance at Global Citizen Live saw them joining forces with K-pop band BTS. Unlike most other songs that Coldplay performed at this live show, “My Universe” is a brand-new single, set to be featured on their upcoming album Music of the Spheres.
“Yellow” ft. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes
Cabello and Mendes both hit the stage at Global Citizen Live on their own, but they didn’t end things there. They also joined Coldplay halfway through the performance of their smash hit “Yellow” and somehow managed to make this song even better.
“Fix You” ft. Billie Eilish and Finneas
Billie Eilish was one of the stars taking part in this 24-hour live musical event, but performing on her own just wasn’t enough for her. She joined forces with Coldplay for a special performance of their hit song “Fix You”, and her brother Finneas was right there by her side.
