Plot Details

The next season of Bridgerton will be based on Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer From a Gentleman, and here’s what it has in store, according to Netflix’s official logline:

“The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”

Casting News

Luke Thompson will return as Benedict Bridgerton in Season 2, and Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlin, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hannah Dodd will most likely also reprise their roles.

Yerin Ha is the latest addition to the cast as Sophie Beckett aka Lady in Silver, Benedict’s love interest. She’s the illegitimate daughter of a maid and an earl, who never officially acknowledged her as his child.

Release Date

Season 4 of Bridgerton doesn’t have an official release date, and you should arm yourself with patience while waiting for its return. Showrunner Jess Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter that Season 4 will take two years two making between writing, editing, dubbing, and eight months of shooting.
