For months we have had to let our dark routes grow out since salons across the country have been closed. But since salons are starting to reopen, celebrities who are famous for their brunette hair have been going blonde. Blonde has always been a popular summer hair color and many celebrities have bleached their hair over the past month and some of them are even going blonde for the first time. Emily Ratajkowski
The actress and model who is known for her long dark hair, is sporting honey blonde hair done in partnership with Kérastase, who she’s the spokesperson for. “I’ve never colored my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life! I’m absolutely thrilled that Kérastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde,” she said in an email statement from the brand. “I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look. Beauty is meant to be fun and expressive and this is definitely, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had with my look before.”
Ariel Winter
The Modern Family actress decided to go platinum blonde after having strawberry blonde hair for a while following the sitcom ending. She debuted the new do with the caption “Winter is coming!!!!!!!!!!!, a play on Game of Thrones and her last name.
Kaia Gerber
The model has been slowly going lighter since giving herself DIY highlights at home back in April while being in quarantine. She told Refinery29 that she was inspired to change up her hair after seeing a video of Audrey Hepburn cutting her bangs.
