Easter Trees are Popping Up All Over Instagram

Recently, we’ve been seeing evergreens for almost every holiday and occasion and Easter trees are the latest trend. On Instagram alone, #EasterTree has almost 37,500 posts. Easter trees are inspired by the Easter egg tree centerpieces that we’ve been decorating our tables with for years. People are rummaging their attics to find their artificial Christmas trees to add pastels and rainbows.

If you want to get in on the trend, get an artificial tree and decorate it with colorful eggs, pastel ornaments, faux carrots, and bunny ears. You can even hang up some holiday lights, which we’ve seen people doing to provide festive cheer during these difficult coronavirus times. Here are some ideas to get you started!

Pastels

Try not to get blinded by the explosion of color. Get some paper carrots, stuffed bunnies, and pastel eggs to complete this masterpiece.

Florals

Did you love the floral Christmas tree trend last year? Then this is the perfect tree for you. Hit up your local dollar store or craft shop and get some faux peonies, roses, sunflowers, and lilies. Make sure you add some eggs and top it off with an Easter bunny.

Natural

If you’re looking for something a bit more subtle, just hang some crosses, eggs, and bunny ornaments. You probably have many of them lying around your house.

Sparkly & Metallic

This Easter tree has it all—between the metallic bobbles, the bright ribbons, the sparkly tulle, and the flowers—we’re not sure where to look next. But we love the burst of color!
