Eater is heading into the 2026 Daytime Emmy race with a nomination for Outstanding Daytime Short Form Program, thanks to its new video series Most-Ordered. The recognition arrives just one week after the outlet landed an 18th New York Emmy nomination, adding another award-season milestone for the brand’s video team.
According to the report, Most-Ordered launched this year and focuses on the dishes diners order again and again at a particular restaurant. The first episode centered on Lori Jayne, the Brooklyn spot operating inside the bar Danger Danger and led by chef Sam Braverman. The segment follows Braverman’s steak frites from start to finish, including the butchery, fry preparation, steak butter, sauce, and final plating.
The dish’s appeal extended beyond the episode itself. The video drew more than 1 million views in just three days, and viewers were inspired to try making the plate at home. At the restaurant, the attention also translated into a surge of orders for the steak frites, eventually leading Lori Jayne to sell out of the dish.
This marks Eater’s sixth Daytime Emmy nomination overall, with several of those coming in the Short Form Program category. The 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on Friday, October 30.
