After a long break from recording solo music, Ed Sheeran is back in the spotlight and he’s going stronger than ever. His fifth studio album is expected to come out later this year, and he’s doing a great job teasing its release.

“Bad Habits”

Not much is known about the British singer’s upcoming album at this point, but he gave us a taste of things to come with his latest single “Bad Habits”. The glam music video that shows Sheeran channel his inner vampire as he roams around the city late at night, created a lot of buzz for this catchy tune.

Live Performances

Sheeran didn’t wait for too long to perform “Bad Habits” in front of an audience. He delivered the first live rendition of the song during TikTok’s UEFA Euro 2020 show, and he’s set to perform it during his upcoming one-week residency on James Corden’s The Late Late Show.

Future Plans?

“Bad Habits” will serve as the first single from his new album, and the singer described it as “curveball” when compared to the rest of the album, which will retain his signature sound. The next single is expected to arrive by September, while the album itself should hit the shelves by the end of the year, but it still doesn’t have an official title and release date.
