When Adele announced she was making her Saturday Night Live hosting debut, we all expected great things from her—and she certainly delivered. The British singer didn’t even have to debut any new songs to draw an audience, and these three sketches immediately went viral online.

The Bachelor

One of the things that we adore about Adele is her self-deprecating sense of humor and it was on full display in this spoof of The Bachelor. To make the whole thing even better, she spent the entire sketch breaking into a song and performed bits and pieces of her biggest hits.

Madame Vivelda

Kate McKinnon was so amazing in this sketch that SNL fans want Madame Vivelda to become a recurring character, and her comedic chemistry with Adele was truly amazing. This bit is universally funny and relatable if you had high hopes for 2020 that fell apart in the face of the global pandemic.

Adele’s Monologue

Adele opened her monologue by saying “Hello, it’s me” and continued by joking about her physical transformation that made the headlines in the last few months. She also confirmed that her new album isn’t finished yet, but we’re hoping that she’ll come back as a musical guest once it is.
