Another Comic-Con is behind us and if we had to pick a studio that dominated the event, it would definitely be Marvel. This year’s Comic-Con gave us some major hints about the future of the MCU and here are some of the most important takeaways.

The Multiverse Saga

Marvel started setting up the multiverse with several recent projects, including Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It turns out they were just setting the stage for what’s to come. These projects form “The Multiverse Saga” with the upcoming Marvel films and TV shows.

Phase Five

The MCU’s Phase Four is coming to a close pretty soon and they have many exciting new projects in store for the next chapter. Phase Five will kick off with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and it will include a long list of movies and TV shows starting with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Marvels.

Phase Six

The MCU’s Phase Six will kick off with Fantastic Four in 2024, and it seems we already met its main villain. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2025) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2025) will also be a part of this phase, hinting that Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will be the big bad after making his debut as “He Who Remains” in Loki.
