Expect to See a Lot More Bob Hairstyles This Season

We’ve been seeing celebrities trade their hair extensions in for a shorter hairstyle; the bob. It wasn’t until Selena Gomez stepped out onto the red carpet at the American Music Awards, that we really saw how cool this haircut truly is. The “Lose You to Love Me” singer is far from the only celebrity to change up her looks and trade her long hair for this stylish do, but we expect this hairstyle to take off real soon. Check out Gomez’s look and these other celebrities who have made this cut come to life. Maybe you’ll get some inspiration for your next haircut.

Selena Gomez

Gomez showed up to the red carpet with this amazing blunt bob featuring 90s-style chunky caramel highlights and we fell in love with the singer all over again. We never expected to embrace these 90s highlights after they became known as one of the worst trends to come from that decade, but somehow Gomez made the trend cool again.

Dua Lipa

Unlike Gomez, Lipa decided to wear a pony-tail extension at the AMAs, but we prefer this more natural look. The multi-color bob is just so glam. We also loved the hairstyle on her with her dark hair.

Kai Gerber

Gerber is catwalk royalty and she made quite the statement when she decided to cut her long hair over the summer. The cut is blunt, and the model made it trendy before other celebrities decided to pull off a similar look. Geber called the cut the “drama cut” on Instagram and she had to convince her hairstylist to go ahead with the cut. Her hairstylist Guido Palau told Vogue that the cut was on-point for Gerber’s aesthetic and Gerber said, “if you don’t do it, I’m going around the corner.”

Bella Hadid

We’re used to seeing Hadid change up the style and color of her hair; she often goes from blonde back to her signature dark hair. She’s gone back to her shorter hair and just a couple of weeks ago, she was seen at Vogue’s Fashion Festival Photocall in Paris looking so chic in this dark sleek bob that’s slightly shorter in the front.
