Over the past few days, rumors have been circling on social media about a possible epic collaboration between Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. It all started after a recent Twitter post from Grammy-winning producer Fredwreck, who worked with Dre and many other artists.

The producer tweeted an old photo of himself with Dre, Eminem, and Kendrick, captioning the photo “Beats n Rhymes”. He also added a microphone emoji and #shady and #aftermath.

Not long after the post was shared, fans of the three rappers started speculating that it refers to an upcoming collaboration with the rappers and Fredwreck.

“So we’re getting a Dr. Dre album with possible Kendrick Lamar & Eminem on the same track ???? Say ain’t so,” one fan wrote. Another wrote, “if we end up getting that Dre x Eminem x Kendrick track we’ve been waiting since 2017…”.

The speculation comes after Kendrick Lamar’s label, Top Dawg Entertainment, ignited rumors that the rapper was returning with new music in a social media post captioned, “THE WAIT IS OVAH!!!”. The post featured a teaser video of a retro “loading bar” and the date May 7, 2021, appeared at the end of the clip.

While no information was released as to which rapper would be dropping new music, fans speculated that it refers to Lamar who’s been promising new music for a while.
