On the 16th of May, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen happily welcomed their second bundle of joy. They have already revealed what their little baby boy looks like and he’s so adorable!
The couple shared their little one’s photo on Instagram already. Aside from this, Teigen revealed his name on the caption of the photo. The couple named their baby Miles Theodore Stephens. This lovely moniker actually has a special meaning behind it that John Legend himself shared with the world.
The couple’s first daughter also has a lovely name, Luna Simone Stephens. According to Legend, they want to give their kids names with a bit of musical history behind them. So they took the name “Miles” from Miles Davis, the famous jazz trumpeter.
Legend also revealed to E! News that his wife liked the name “Theodore” and so they put both names together to come up with Miles Theodore Stephens.
For those who aren’t familiar, Miles Davis was actually a well-known African-American jazz trumpeter. He’s also one of the most influential jazz figures in the 20th century.
