High-Tech Home Workout Gear is the Latest Fitness Trend

Over the past few years, “smart” home fitness equipment has taken over and Peloton was among the first to start the movement in 2014 with their indoor cycling machines, which are still in high-demand today. Today, many fitness brands have created their own high-tech workouts machines that give you the feeling of group classes and the customization of personal training, in the comfort of your own home.

In addition to Peloton, Mirror, which debuted last fall is among the most popular high-tech home workouts machines. Mirror looks like a giant iPhone that hangs from your wall and includes more than 70 workouts. There’s everything from cardio and strength to Pilates and boxing streamed either live or on-demand.

With people having to work out at home, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and gyms being closed, it only makes sense for high-tech home workout gear to become even more popular.

One thing to mention is that these “smart” machines come at a high cost—we’re talking a couple of thousands of dollars for the membership and machines. But when you think about it, if you consider the average monthly cost of a gym membership, the investment pays off within a couple of years.
