Home Decor is Honoring the Female Form

Throughout history, the female form has inspired architects, painters, and artists and now we’re seeing the nude female body pop up in all types of home decor. And we think it’s about time the female body is recognized for its beauty instead of promoting unrealistic ways it should look on social media. It’s hard to scroll on Instagram, Pinterest, interior design blogs, or TikTok without seeing tasteful nudes with busts and butts. It’s simply fantastic!

By now we bet you’ve seen the female form in tons of home decor items including vases, prints, candles, wall art, mugs, pillows, figurines. The trend actually started a few years ago after Instagram-famous brands like Cold Picnic and Gravel & Gold released their boob and booty art pieces. Not long after, other labels and interior designers launched chic and sultry decor items like art prints, accent pillows, kitchen items, and embroidered tapestries.

The female form trend happens to fit in perfectly with the body-positive movement, viewing the female body as something to be celebrated and as a beautiful work of art. While some people may view it is as risky, we happen to think it’s so chic and it can even be silly at times.
