Can you believe it’s been six years since Adele released music? To be honest, neither can we. “Hello” was released back in 2015! But after some time out of the spotlight, it looks like Adele’s ready to make her big return. And based on some hints over the past few weeks, fans have been speculating.
The first hint comes after the number 30 was projected onto several buildings around the world over the weekend. Fans predicted that 30 could be the name of the singer’s fourth album, after 19, 21, and 25. The blue and gold projections were spotted on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, Amsterdam’s Nemo Museum, and New York’s Empire State Building, among other locations.
Then Adele’s Twitter and Instagram images were changed to a blue pattern and her old website was scrubbed and replaced with a gold button telling fans to sign up for more information.
Adele also said on Instagram back in 2019 in a birthday post, “30 will be a drum and bass record to spite you all.”
There is speculation the album will drop in November, maybe on Taylor Swift’s original release date of Red (Taylor’s Version), which was November 19. Swift pushed the date forward to November 12, which fans speculated may have to do with trying to avoid competition for Adele’s possible upcoming album.
