James Gunn has a horror movie in the works.

The Guardians of the Galaxy director was recently fired by Disney following the public release of inappropriate jokes Gunn made on Twitter years ago. The cast all voiced their support for the director and Dave Baustica (the actor who plays Drax) even threatened to leave the movie if Gunn’s script wasn’t used.

Following these events, it has been announced that Gunn will not be leaving the film industry but in fact has a horror film scheduled for release this fall. No trailers or title speculations have been released following the Disney controversy. In fact, we know practically nothing about the feature.

What we do know is that the movie will be released November 30th from Sony Pictures. Given that Sony have confirmed the movie is still on track for its scheduled release, we can assume that production has already wrapped up and that it is just the marketing plans which have been severely stunted by the Gunn controversy.

More news and trailers to come when they arrive.
