One of TikTok’s most-followed users isn’t an actor, singer, or socialite—it’s a 27-year-old Toronto LGBTQ+ resident named Josh Zilberberg. Josh has amassed almost two million followers thanks to two words: “thank yew”. So how did he become so famous? Let’s get to know the latest TikToker you should be following.
Josh downloaded TikTok in 2019 and from the moment he began using it, he was obsessed. He started with lip-syncing, green-screen, and “POV” videos before his “thank yew” debuted in September 2020. The signature phrase quickly earned him eight million views and that’s when he started getting followers.
