After a disappointing playoff exit, Milwaukee Bucks are intent on bouncing back and building a better roster around superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. And this plan reportedly includes raiding Sacramento Kings.

According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Milwaukee Bucks are considering a package trade deal that would see them land forward Harrison Barnes and guard Bogdan Bogdanovic.

It isn’t a secret that Bucks think highly of Bogdanovic and see his shot-making ability as a potentially valuable addition to their rotation. However, considering that the Serbian is a restricted free agent, any potential deal would require Milwaukee to pull off a sign-and-trade with Sacramento.

Bucks believe that this scenario would see them absorbing one more contract as part of the trade see Barnes as the most likely option.

Lowe reports that there is no information on whether Milwaukee approached Kings for talks or whether Sacramento even has an interest in making such a deal.

Bogdanovic is one of the intriguing players on the free-agent market, having averaged career-high 15.1 points last season, but could also be an expensive one. He previously rejected a four-year, $51.4 million contract extension from the Kings and will most likely ask a lot more in the offseason.

Barnes, on the other hand, has three years and $60.85 million left on his deal. He finished the 2019/20 with 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
