2023 has been another amazing year for Olivia Rodrigo, and she brought it to a close by serving as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Her second SNL performance brought some amazing moments our way, and here are three that got everyone talking.

Vampire

Rodrigo kicked off her time on SNL with an emotional rendition of her power ballad “Vampire”, which did a great job setting the stage for her sophomore album Guts. This stripped-down piano performance put her vocals on full display since she did it all on her own, without backing vocals or other instruments in the background.

All American B—h

Rodrigo opted for a completely different approach with the pop-punk-inspired song “All American B—h”. She channeled the song’s messy energy by smashing cakes and dancing on tables, delivering a true masterclass in female rage that defined many songs on Guts.

Tiny A— Bag

Rodrigo made such a huge impact as a musician that it’s easy to forget she actually got her big break as an actress. She put her career in Hollywood on the backburner but got a chance to flex her acting muscles in a hilarious sketch about tiny bags, alongside the host Adam Driver and SNL stars Ego Nwodim and Marcello Hernández.
