Peloton is the Fitness Service Everyone’s Using

During the pandemic, many businesses have really suffered, but the demand for home fitness equipment has surged. One business that’s seen a huge spike in sales during the pandemic is Peloton, whose global membership hit 3.1 million at the end of June, more than double what it was a year earlier.

If you miss the social aspect of a cycling studio and want to replicate the experience at home, a Peloton indoor bike may be a great investment for you. And investment it is—the bikes start at $2,245, although they are currently on sale for $1,895, with a $39 monthly fee for Peloton All-Access Membership.

The All-Access Membership includes live-streaming and on-demand classes, membership for the entire family, real-time metrics, instructor shout outs, and access to Peloton on any device. There’s also a second membership option which is the Peloton Digital Membership for $12.99 a month and it includes Peloton studio and outdoor running classes on the app with a single-user membership.

So when you think about, if you’re an avid cyclist and you take four or more cycling classes a week in a studio, the at-home bike and classes pay off over time.

Plus the company recently released the Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread+, and the Bike Bootcamp. The Peloton Bike+ has new features that make it easier to combine cardio and strength training and the Peloton Tread+ is an upgrade to the original treadmill with a shock-absorbing slat belt. The Bike Bootcamp combines cardio and strength training intervals into a challenging workout.
