Before you go ahead and get a piercing, consider the anatomy of your ear. A tragus or rook piercing may look super cool on some people, but it may not work for your ear shape. If you want to know if the piercing will work for you, experiment with stickers or cuffs before you get it pierced.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you want multiple piercing on your ear, it will happen over time. Don’t expect to get a ton of piercings done at once; most places will do two or three holes at a time. Also, the number of places that does piercings has expanded, so you’re not limited to going to Claire’s.
