Share Some Good News for a Change with “The Happy Newspaper”

The world is a sad enough place, even without the constant showering of negativity. But what if we treated our news feed with kindness, and filled our feed with positivity and inspiration for a change? The Happy Newspaper was launched with a single goal in mind: to promote positive news and wonderful people.

“We aim to bring a refreshing twist on what we typically know as ‘news'”, reads their website, “reporting on positive changes and truly inspiring people.” Run by Emily Coxhead, what began as a printed newspaper (published quarterly) turned into an all-encompassing brand with its own line of products and books.

According to Coxhead, the newspaper’s purpose is to share and celebrate positive, uplifting stories that are often overlooked in today’s society. “For many people, understanding the idea behind the newspaper is one thing,” she writes, “but experiencing what a difference it makes to see and read solely positive articles is another.”

With a following of over 300k on Instagram alone, there’s clearly a crowd for positive consumption.
