It’s not easy to determine the trendiest hair color of the year, but L’Oréal Paris and Vogue have finally agreed on one. For 2019, according to these two leading brands, the trendiest hair color will be silver.
This was announced by Orrea Light, the vice president of global marketing, product development and beauty innovation at L’Oréal. Light explained that they’ve done their research by analyzing trends on catwalks, social media, and street style before deciding on a single color.
“Not only has silver hair been a top color trend on the runways, and it is the ‘it’ color for women of all ages, we love what the color stands for–it symbolizes charisma, ethereal energy, power, focus and it is beyond chic,” Light says.
