Fans of Grand Theft Auto spent a full decade waiting for the game’s sixth installment, and the wait will soon be over! After months of speculations about GTA 6, Rockstar Games finally confirmed this game is officially happening, and we’ll get to see the first trailer in December.

Rockstar Games took to social media to announce they’ll release the first trailer for this game in early December, adding they “look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”

This news comes shortly after Bloomberg reported that Rockstar Games will announce GTA 6 just last week, but they’ve actually shared the first info about the game all the way back in 2022.

“With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered — and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway,” said a Rockstar representative back in February 2022.

Rockstar was later caught up in major controversy after 90 videos showing 50 minutes of the unfinished versions of GTA 6 were leaked online, marking one of the biggest leaks in the history of the video game industry.

The last game in the GTA series, Grand Theft Auto 5, came out in 2013 and made history as the world’s fastest-selling game, with $800 million earned in just 24 hours.
