There’s a new 90s hair trend popping up all over Instagram and for once, it’s not the Rachel Green.
“Skunk hair” is the surprising new 90s hair trend that influencers and Instagrammers are trying out. It may not sound like the most attractive hairstyle in the world, but it looks surprisingly chic while also having major grunge vibes.
The look is reminiscent of Anna Paquin’s hair in the 2000s’ X-Men franchise. Remember when Mystique called Rogue a skunk because of her hair? Well, if at the time you thought Rogue’s hair was cool, you were dead right.
Now, the two-tone trend has been popping up over Instagram. Major influencer Sable Yong recently debuted skunk hair and since then we’ve seen it appearing more and more on our feeds.
Sable looks unreal with her jet black here and platinum streaks. It’s got all those 90s grunge vibes we love in 2020 and she pulls it off like one of the OG X-men.
